Kontraku was formed in 2004 and has enjoyed the sucess of playing many great live performances and we thank you all for your support throughout the past years. After some member changes over the past few years, we have found a solid line up and now move into a new era and evolution of the band. We believe this to be our most solid line up to date and one that will last.  Our brand of metal blends aggressive riffs, melodies, and time signiture changes with gutteral and harmonic vocals. Brace yourself for the impact that is Kontraku.

Kontraku is scheduled for the recording studio and we are aggressively working on new material and restructuring and polishing older material.

 Kontraku - pronounced "contra-coo", "When the skull is struck by a blunt object there is a molding of the skull that occurs. Lesions beneath this point are referred to as coupe lesions. A corresponding out bending of the skull occurs on the opposite side. Lesions in this area are referred to as contra-coupe"
